Keep Goin, Gorgeous
Every 28 days, we shed. We bleed. We transform. And we grow. What an honor that is.
Every 7-11 days, our minds and emotions change. Our body changes, our metabolic needs, and nutrient needs change. What an honor that is.
Women are cyclical beings, moving with the moon. Going through constant movements of being reserved and calm to high outward energy. And if our bodies and mind move with the moon, shouldn't our daily lives?
Cycle syncing isn't an all-or-nothing thing. It's a journey of small sustainable decisions made to support your body and mind through all phases of the menstrual cycle.
Yes, I am the founder and ceo of my amazing company, HerBiology. Yes, I live with gratitude in my cycle-synced life. Yes, I put my heart into what I do and how I live my life. But do you wanna know a secret? I’m not perfect. And I never have been. There are days when I don’t do any movement, I nap instead. There are days when I eat like a king on an organic-based diet, and here and there, there are days when I eat like a peasant. I have days when I work and socialize for 12 hours, and I have others where I only work for 4 hours and hang out with my thoughts. I have days when I am on top of the world, and I have days when I feel like I’m lying face down in a mud puddle.
I am a cyclical woman, and I live my life in this way with honor and power. How so? With my rockin cycle. I know when I am in my follicular and ovulation phase there for I plan meetings, appointments, and my social calendar accordingly. I also know when I will be in my luteal and menstrual phase, so I kindly decline strenuous social outings and workout classes and turn my energy inward, preparing for my monthly shedding of all that no longer serves me. I know what kinds of groceries I will need to buy and will actually eat because I know my hunger cycle and I know what I will be craving/ what nutrients my body will crave.
Because of all of this, I no longer struggle with immeasurable cramps and nausea. I no longer struggle with excessive blood loss or hormonal acne. Because of all of this, I am able to live my life with grace and ease.
Myself, my closest friends and family, and numerous other women I have met in my life have all struggled with painful periods, burnout, bloating, and acne. Never being taught what our body is truly going through, what it needs, and how to properly care for your beautiful cycle. That’s why HerBiology was created. That is why I pour my heart into everything I do. We are powerful cyclical beings; we were just never taught how to harness it. I created HerBiology to help women learn about their yoni in an elegant and empowering way. Helping them grow and prosper in their lives. By living alongside the earth, moving our bodies with effort and ease, and treating our mind and calendar with care, we can live with our cycle instead of fighting it.
I am here for you. I have been right where you are, and look at me now, flourishing.
Nature knows. You remember. We guide.
With love and warm hugs, HerBiology
